From Corsica to Denmark

I am writing to you from Denmark, as an importer and exclusive ambassador for Corsican wines.
My desire to start this business is, of course, clearly influenced by my history and experiences as Corsican.

Grandson of an islander winegrower from Sartenais, I remember family meals where there was always a bottle of island wine on the table. This adventure is part of that continuity, preserving a centuries-old island culture, but also sharing the rarity of certain grapes with Danish consumers.

This family story goes with a desire to raise awareness and recognition of the island's wine culture

Our values

Our ambition is not merely to sell wine, but to offer our customers a strong identity, an unique expertise, and winemaking traditions dating back to antiquity.

Our values align with sustainable winegrowing, the no-use of pesticides, and the responsible use of natural resources such as water, all while respecting the soil.

We work with rare native grapes varieties, and, in doing so, with winemakers who take pride in reclaiming what is today the pride of the island of Corsica: a terroir that is the jewel of responsible viticulture.

We therefore support this exceptional land situated in the heart of the Mediterranean, which, in its own way, contributes to the diversity that enriches the world.

What is Kalliste?

Kalliste or “the most beautiful” is how the ancient
Greeks described Corsica from antiquity. This name is a tribute to the renown of this island in the heart of the Mediterranean. The island was already mentioned in Homer's Odyssey. Its wine, which were appreciated by its greatest philosophers, who were already importing large quantities of them.
