PDO CORSICA: The history of this appellation in the eastern part of the island’s vineyards
Established in 1935, the PDO designation is a guarantee of quality and origin. The island’s wine-growing region counts nine such designations.

Stretching across the entire eastern coast of the island, the vineyards benefit from exceptional terrain combining both plains and rocky peaks rising to nearly 1,000 meters. Benefiting from a particularly rich mineral profile, including clay-limestone and schist soils, for example, the wines produced in this region alone reflect the generosity and richness of the Corsican terroir.
In practice, this yields floral white wines, fruity rosés, and red wines combining power and finesse.
